Associate Consultant

The role of Consultant is to effectively manage client and candidate relationships, continue to develop customer rapport and business development skills, and act as an ambassador for Links’ brand within the market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • End to end execution of job orders: accurately load job orders and understand requirements of the position; source candidate list; present candidates to client; arrange interviews; negotiate offer and guarantee follow up
  • On-going development and enhancement of candidate database. Audit existing candidates, source new candidates through networking, job databases and referrals
  • Interview candidates to shortlist as part of job execution and database enhancement
  • Summarize candidate profile to clients in persuasive and succinct manner.
  • Communicate effectively by telephone, email and in writing with candidates and clients
  • Periodically support senior recruiters in sourcing candidates for specific job orders
  • Continually develop knowledge on current market / industry trends relating to the industry or job function
  • Participate in client meetings with Senior Management
  • As a Consultant you will develop the ability to meet independently with Clients and represent the brand and business lines. You will also continue to develop your negotiating skills.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • University graduate
  • International exposure through school or work preferred
  • 4 years’ work experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and charisma
  • Enjoys speaking on the phone. Not afraid to approach people they don’t know
  • High energy, passion and a strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Organized, focused and able to multi-task
  • Excellent English. Mandarin and Cantonese a plus.
  • Relevant industry experience or candidate management experience

 

Senior Consultant

As Senior Consultant you will work closely with the General Manager in both business development and job execution strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Key account management
  • Assist in devising new and innovative search and recruitment strategies
  • Act in consultancy role to clients on all aspects of the recruitment business
  • Assist the General Manager to manage and train the recruitment team
  • Assist the General Manager to ensure the team achieves KPIs, sales targets and on-going business growth
  • Source suitable candidates through database search, job portals, advertisement, referrals and networking
  • Conduct interviews to shortlist potential candidates on behalf of our clients
  • Provide advice and knowledge on current market / industry trends relating to human capital needs
  • Coach / advise candidates on career progression and advancement
  • Understand clients’ recruitment requirements and profile the right candidates to ensure both the clients and candidates needs are exceeded

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder in any discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be fluent in English.
  • High energy, passion and a strong entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to build a new and existing business
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confident negotiator

 

Consulting Manager

The role of Consulting Manager is to manage a team of recruiters within a functional area at Links.  Effectively develop client and candidate relationships.  Build revenue for Links within the targeted function. Act as an ambassador for Links’ brand within the market.  Serve as a mentor to junior staff and a thought leader within your industry.  As a Consulting Manager you will offer strategic thought leadership including identifying sectors for your business, and key functional roles for the team to pursue.  You will lead in monetizing the trends you identify.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • As Team Lead, identify target companies to market.
  • Successfully bring in job orders within your team’s business focus
  • Lead your team in end to end execution of job orders: Ensure complete understanding of the requirements of the position; source candidate list; present candidates to client; arrange interviews; negotiate offer and guarantee follow up
  • Efficient turnaround of job orders and provision of quality candidates that meet clients’ specifications. Both individually and as Team Lead
  • Responsible for on-going development and enhancement of candidate database by the team.
  • Interview candidates to shortlist as part of job execution and database enhancement.
  • Summarize candidate profile to clients in persuasive and succinct manner.
  • Communicate effectively by telephone, email and in writing with candidates and clients
  • Negotiate Terms of Business
  • Become expert in current market / industry trends relating to the industry or job function
  • Act as role model and resource to junior members of the company
  • Source, hire, train, mentor, manage and motivate new recruiters
  • Train team in skills needed to successfully execute a job order.
  • Career development of recruiters on the team.
  • Cross Sell and generate leads for other teams and other offices in both recruitment and business services.

A Consulting Manager should exercise strategic thought leadership within the company.

As a Consulting Manager you are a leader within the company.  You are expected to meet independently with Clients and represent the brand and business lines.  The quality of your work should result in repeat business from clients.  You are able to bring in new business and negotiate Terms of Business.  You are respected by your team and successfully develop the skills of team members.

  • Deep industry and current event understanding
  • Demonstrated leadership skills

Minimum KPIs for the position:

  • Bring in a minimum of 10 job orders per month
  • Touch base with at least 3 candidates and 3 clients per week
  • Interview at least 5 candidates per week for targeted job functions within your team
  • Ensure that CVs are sent for jobs within 48 hours of receipt of job order.
  • Generate revenue at a minimum level of 4 times your monthly salary on a consistent basis
  • Generate overall revenue of the team at a minimum of 4 times monthly combined salaries on a consistent basis.
  • Generate leads, job orders or payroll referrals across a divisions and offices. Minimum cross sell, 6 per quarter, tracked through Bullhorn.

Key skills needed to be promoted to Division Manager:

  • Able to synthesize information and propose a solution
  • Meet and exceed qualitative and quantitative expectations of the company on all factors of your current role
  • Consistent billing of over 6 times your monthly salary
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with confidence with candidates and clients
  • Proven ability to execute a job effectively and in a timely fashion.
  • A leader in your industry or function
  • Proven identity as a person clients refer and turn to for recruitment services
  • Act as a value added member of the Senior Management team
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and promote people within your team
